What a month we've had here at Blueleaf HQ! Having been shortlisted for four awards, the team were lucky enough to attend no less than three ceremonies.

First up was the Cheshire Business Awards held at Chester Racecourse, where we were 'Highly Commended' for our contribution to the education, business and charitable communities within the region. Competition was very strong with the award being won by Equilibrium Asset Management who have set up their own charitable foundation with the aim of raising £250,000 within 10 years, focusing on helping the young and the elderly in the immediate areas where their clients live. Watch our introduction video for the awards here.

Next was the UK Digital Entrepreneur Awards hosted by UKFast at the Hilton in Manchester. Our very own Rob Smith was a finalist in the 'Young Entrepreneur of the Year' category, but narrowly missed out to Shaun Loughlin of FreestyleXtreme Trading Ltd. We were absolutely ecstatic though to win 'Digital Business of the Year' which was judged on strong growth, innovative strategies and market prominence. The judges examined previous form, current performance and future potential, looking at the creativity and innovation used to drive the business forward. They particularly looked at the policies and structures in place to stimulate, nurture, develop and implement.

Finally, Adrian was a finalist in the 'Digital and Media Entrepreneur of the Year' category at the EN for Business North West Entrepreneur Awards held at The Mere in Knutsford. Other finalists included Al Mackin from the EWord and David Grimes & Paul Haydock of MyParcelDelivery.com, with the winner being Matt Bullas of Click Consult. Watch the showreel we produced for the evening here.

That's not all folks, as we've been shortlisted for a DADI award and we're a finalist in the National Business Awards, so fingers crossed we'll have more great news in November!
