We love our partners here at Blueleaf. Cheesy, but also very true. Our CEO Adrian Lomas has a unique approach to building partnerships; unique because he’s more collaborative and supportive than most people, frequently meeting and connecting people. But why? Adrian explains…
Over to Adrian
OK, so we may not be the best at dancing here at Blueleaf but we’re very good at making and developing partnerships.
One of our 9 core values is "collaborative and supportive in our relationships". This isn’t just an ethos to encourage teamwork within the four walls of Blueleaf HQ. It’s a general ethos that the team extend externally to clients, partners, suppliers and actually, anyone we come into contact with.
I encourage every member of the team to think about how we can work with and support our partners at every stage. So it’s not just at project-level, marketing, finance and front of house are also encouraged to think collaboratively. If we’re working with a partner then it’s one team as far as Blueleaf is concerned.
You may know that our purpose here at Blueleaf is ‘Inspiring Great Retail’. This focus ensures we accept work within our sweet spot, where we know we can deliver outstanding results, without question, rather than being a jack of all trades. We’re confident when we meet prospects and tell them what we can do for their online sales.
OK, so why am I telling you this? UX design, build and support of Demandware, Venda and Magento platforms are our core services. So, this leaves huge scope for us to work with partners to do all the elements we don’t - partners who have their own niche area, which complements our core offering. So we love working alongside partners; not white labelling projects, but actually partnering with reputable companies who inspire retail in what they do, providing a richer end result for the client.
As Winston Churchill famously said, “if we are together nothing is impossible. If we are divided, all will fail.” Now, I'm not convinced on the “all failing” bit but I do strongly believe in working together for the common good.
So with that in mind, if you think you may be able to partner or collaborate in some way with our team, get in touch and let’s have a chat. Just please don't expect me to dance!
In the spirit of collaboration you may like to come along to some of our events.
Our next Jibber Jabber event is on 29th June. Jibber Jabber is London-based networking for anyone in digital / online - here’s a blog all about it, where you can also sign up.
We hold a similar event in Chester, called the Digital Garden Party. Here’s a review of our last do.
And for you agency owners and founders, ChIMPs could be a great event for you. It’s a private group for us to get together to see how we can help and support each other’s agencies. A fantastic support network, and also the opportunity to build up your little black book of potential referral partners. We run ChIMPs events in Chester and Henley.
If you simply want to have a chat about what we do and how we might be able to work together, then I'd love to hear from you. Get in touch and let’s have a chat or a coffee.
