The Ramblers’ Association is the UK’s largest walking charity. They’ve been working (and walking) for over 70 years to protect walkers’ rights and campaign for improved access to the countryside.
When they needed to drive membership online, they contacted Blueleaf to help. The Ramblers had identified two succinct messages that they wished to communicate; that membership fees are used to help keep Britain’s countryside open for walkers and that joining the Ramblers provides a great way to meet like-minded people and make new friends.
The Blueleaf team came up with a number of concepts to get the messages across in an impactful, memorable way, that would work within the extremely restrictive demands of web banner advertising. We then built the banners in several different formats and optimised each one for web use.
