Our regular look at Salesforce Commerce Cloud this week takes a look at Source Codes.

What are they?

Sources Codes are not new, but they're often under utilised. They give you the ability to create a URL that ends up anywhere on your Commerce Cloud site, with an embedded source code. Using that source code, you can change the behaviour of the site:

  1. Using a campaign, these visitors can have specific promotions, content slots and sorting rules

  2. Using just the source code, it can apply a different price book

Cool eh?

Why do I care?

It's a very flexible but often under used function for controlling your traffic that's incoming from places like social media channels, emails and so on.

What do I need to know?
