Blue sky thinking

Team Blueleaf recently took to the skies over Cheshire for a hot air balloon flight, courtesy of Sky High Leisure and Creative Director, Chris Jones, who is a qualified balloon pilot himself. The flight had been on the cards for over a year, but had been cancelled several times thanks to the wonderful British weather.
Suffice to say, it was well worth the wait. Taking off from Malpas on a beautiful sunny evening, we climbed to over 4,000ft, enjoying the views of Peckforton and Beeston Hills and trying to pick out Blueleaf HQ in the distance. There were nervous looks from the Blueleaf team as Chris took the controls, and he made the most of his new found position of authority to ask Adrian for a pay rise.
The flight lasted for around an hour, touching down in a cow field, near the village of Tattenhall. No one was quite sure whether the smell was from the cowpats or nervous flyer Joseph McDermott, but a good time was had by all.
