As well as the usual kit,
we will get you set up with...

Gmail

We use Gmail for our work email: it ties in nicely with Calendar and Drive.

Once you have logged into your account we will send you the details for all the other apps we use - please see Sarah for the password to your email.

Your email address is
iain.burnage@blue-leaf.co.uk

Slack

Slack is the system we use for all our internal communications. Slack uses "channels" rather than direct emails which dramatically cuts down the number of emails we send and receive and keeps everyone in the loop.

There are a number of channels that you will be automatically added to which are listed below. Feel free to look at all the channels and see which you fancy joining!

#ama - for asking any burning questions to Rob and Adrian
#bl-1er-ideas - for suggest improvements we can make
#bl-general - for team-wide communications and announcements
#bl-retail news - to see Blueleaf's tweets, press and other industry news
#bl-slackdos - for paying kudos to members of the team
#bl-tannoy - a broadcast channel for anyone to send out business updates
#lunch orders - for ordering your lunch every day if you'd like to
#random - a place for non-work banter, links and articles or interest or humour

JIRA

JIRA is another system that is fundamental to the day-to-day running of Blueleaf.

All our projects and timesheets are managed through it and we use it to store key information.

Capsule CRM

Capsule is where we keep track of all the people we meet. Whether they're clients, partners, potential recruits or peers we record them by popping them in Capsule and tagging them appropriately.

This is so we know who we've contacted, when and why. Marketing Manager Kate has a 'Capsule bible' which she'll share with you - this lets you know all the tags we use and what they mean.

Your login will be emailed to you

SAS Protect

SAS Protect is our online HR system. It's private so nobody can log into your system except you and our HR team. You can look up our policies, view your contract, book your holidays and manage sickness.

Kay will send you your log-in; have a look around and let her know if you have any questions. Once you're happy you've got all the information you need, please sign your contract and tick the boxes to let us know you've read our HR policies.

Please can you do this by Monday 14th March

10,000ft

We use 10,000ft for scheduling everyone's work and this is managed by Sarah, our Traffic Manager.

At the start of each week, Sarah will go though your schedule with you.

To be able to view 10,000ft:
