New business development manager

We are looking to expand with the addition of a 'proven' New Business Development Manager.
This is a great opportunity to join an ambitious team of creatives and web developers within a full service design and digital media agency to help them increase sales and expand on a growing client list. The role will be based from Spurstow, deep in the Cheshire countryside so there is limited distractions of city life although the target accounts will be wider.  The salary package will be subject to the individual’s experience however it will be focussed on basic salary with high rewards for success.

The candidate must have a proven track record of finding and opening new accounts and either managing the account or passing it on to an Account Manager once its won.
They must also have great industry experience, be able to offer consultancy on design for print and digital media, be a self starter and extremely highly motivated. 

Marketing qualifications desirable.

The role would require candiate to:

  • bring in 400K+ sales in the first 12 months
  • provide advice and consultancy services on design and marketing for your clients
  • write proposals & reports
  • liaise with production manager regarding estimates
  • brief in the studio on your client’s projects
  • present creative and ideas to clients
  • generally ensure accounts are running smoothly, on time and on budget

  • high level of industry awareness (possibly from design or marketing background originally)

In addition they will:

  • report to the Managing Director
  • possibly act as a mentor to sales and marketing team
