We're delighted to introduce you to our latest Blueleafer, Leon Willoughby. In this article, Leon shares why he chose Blueleaf, how he's finding things here and what he's bringing to the role.

Where have you come from and what attracted you to Blueleaf?

I have over 10 years of experience working in Business Development roles and most of them have been with digital agencies.

This role at Blueleaf is a great opportunity for me to do what I love,  which is speaking to companies and finding innovative ways to help them solve their problems. I especially like helping retailers and as a consumer myself, I get a buzz when I visit a client's shop or website and I recognise the work our agency has done, or better yet, spot how we can help further.  

How are you finding things so far, has anything surprised you?

Things are going great. It’s been busy which I love and the team genuinely are a nice bunch of people. They're very helpful, so I've settled in very quickly. 

What has impressed me is the lengths the team go to, to live by their focus ‘inspiring great retail’ and how it is built into their DNA. They've even inspired me with a new passion for squash! I'd never played before joining but I'm now an enthusiast. 

What's exciting you about the role and where do you think you'll add value?

Everything is exciting about Blueleaf. I love helping people and we offer some fantastic services so I can’t waiting to start speaking with more retailers to understand (and solve) their challenges. 

I hope to add value by working with the team to come up with ways to push the boundaries of what we can achieve to meet the demands of the fast-paced retail industry.
