We’re rather chuffed to be up for yet another award. This time it’s the High Sheriff’s Award for Enterprise, which was introduced in 2006 to recognise outstanding achievement by enterprises in Cheshire, Halton and Warrington. When we heard we’d been shortlisted for the award, we quickly got to work preparing for our visit on Friday 27 January, when we met with some of the judges of the awards including Professor Phil Harris from the University of Chester and business managers from Barclays Bank who sponsor the awards.
Our presentation ran through why we deserve to win the award, showing how we’ve achieved commercial success and sustainable growth in line with our ambitious long-term goals. We also had to show how the prize of an MBA would benefit Blueleaf, demonstrating how this will help our Digital Director Rob to add another dimension to his knowledge and thinking process, helping Blueleaf grow faster and with more sustainability than ever before.
