Here at Blueleaf we’ve been working on some fantastic projects, including the Scuderia Toro Rosso website, Laura Ashley’s French site and lots, lots more that we’ll be sharing with you very soon. With all this cracking work it’s no surprise that we’re expanding the team. We’d love to introduce you to the latest Blueleafer, Verity Maybury.
Verity joined the team last month as a Project Manager and it certainly feels like she’s been here a lot longer. She’s an invaluable addition to the team and has jumped straight in doing a fantastic job.
We asked Verity about how she does it, why she chose to join us and what she’s most excited about working on.

What made you decide to join the Blueleaf team?
I really like that Blueleaf has a plan. They not only have a structured plan for how they can make things better and be where they want to be, they also don’t follow the norm when looking at ways to realise their ambitions. They very much use their people as a way to drive this plan and encourage the team to support, encourage and challenge each other. This is an environment that I wanted to be part of. A Digital Agency of this calibre and in this location is a rare thing so I was, and I still am, very excited to be invited to work here.
What are your first impressions and is it what you expected?
Absolutely. It’s been a really busy 3 weeks, as I expected from a Digital Agency working with big, successful brands like Red Bull and Laura Ashley! I wanted a role where I could quickly add value and also have the opportunity to learn from an experienced and innovative team, I’ve already been developed here and hope that the skills and experience I have brought with me have helped the Team and Clients. If I were to choose one ‘stand out’ first impression, it would be that the team all go above and beyond to support and help each other.
What projects are you most excited about getting stuck into?
My first project with Blueleaf is their largest to date, a Responsive site for Laura Ashley which is rather exciting to say the least and a great way for me to get to know and work closely with the Laura Ashley team as well as working with a good cross section of the team here at Blueleaf. I will also be working with Life Style Sports on their new Responsive site which will be really exciting. It’s great that I am being exposed to such great brands and look forward to working with both Clients.
What are you going to bring to the role?
Putting aside my obsession with all things being organised; I love interacting with Clients, this again was a factor which attracted me to Blueleaf - that Client contact is really appealing to me and has always been a big part of my previous roles. I love building and maintaining excellent relationships and will be bringing that passion for the Client and their business to my role at Blueleaf.
