"When I was in my early twenties I moved back to London having been away over a decade. At first the place was a bit of a shock to the system. After a while though I started to develop the defensive layer you need to filter out all the day-to-day stuff that London has a bad reputation for, like the rudeness and the rush hour tube.

Once you've learnt to ignore all this stuff you can get on with the job of enjoying what is undoubtedly one of the best cities in the world.

At its heart though London is about commerce. There are more opportunities per square mile in London than anywhere in the world. Whatever your industry, there's a good chance London is where the most concentrated action is.

Blueleaf has enjoyed 30% year on year growth for the last couple of years and it feels like it's a natural progression for us now to also be in London. Some of our largest clients are already based there, which means we're able to grow from a solid base.

Staying true to our roots, the engine room for the company will still be our HQ up in Cheshire but with a meaningful London presence we can expand into our key sectors where there is strong density in London such as in retail, fashion, media and B2B.

We're excited about our future in London and to paraphrase Samuel Johnson, ‘when you are bored of London, you are bored of life’".

"Unlike Jonathon, I have always lived up in the North of the UK, hailing from a small Cheshire village, surrounded by farms and cobbled streets, somewhat far removed from the bustling streets of London! I was looking to move down to London though so this was a perfect opportunity for me.

The move down has been extremely exciting, as it opens up a new chapter in the Blueleaf book. As a rapidly expanding business, the next step has been a very big one, onto the hectic London scene, where my search for passionate, talented individuals continues.

It will be challenging, as the team we have up in Chester are real ‘Blueleaf-ers’! However, it doesn't take much to see that the levels of talent in London are also huge, and one of the main reasons we have expanded into the City. Although we are only in the early stages of development, London has offered huge benefits in terms of meeting some fantastic people, who have been successful and achieved great things; an excellent environment for Blueleaf to continue its growth in.

At the moment, we're on the hunt for a Digital Marketing Manager to work with us on making Blueleaf a familiar name in the digital world in London. We're looking for an experienced, driven candidate, who is truly passionate about what we do, to help us lead our brand forward. We will also soon be looking to hire developers, producers, account managers, and other creative geniuses, all to be part of the quest of achieving the Blueleaf goal.
