In May, we decided to hold our first Digital Garden Party, an event for anyone in the digital space. We chose to hold it in Chester because contrary to the scene around our London office, the Chester digital community doesn't seem to get together as often. There’s so many great companies in this area we wanted to help change that! We’re pleased to say that we had a phenomenal response - it was a great event, thanks again to everyone who came along. We decided on the night, that this would not be a one off.
So here we are, we’re holding another Digital Garden Party on September 25th, 6.30pm – 8.30pm (or longer?) at Oddfellows which for those of you that didn't come last time is a pretty impressive, boutique hotel in the centre of Chester.
If that's not encouragement enough there’ll also be drinks and seasonal tapas, courtesy of our generous sponsors ShortList and Warrington School of Management, University of Chester who are both kindly sponsoring for a second time! Thanks guys.
We'll be holding another live debate, this time about “Technology vs Learning”, exploring the different software packages available to ecommerce businesses and the pros and cons of letting technology do all the work and manage all your data instead of learning your craft.
Our MD Rob Smith won the debate by a landslide last time, he did have the slight advantage of debating that the website is not dead, to a digital audience! We have a winner stays on policy so trying to knock Rob off the top spot will be Callum Reckless from Reckless (yes, that is his real name).
If you work in digital then come along and bring your colleagues! You can register for your complimentary place here. There is a limited number of spaces so don’t forget to register yours to avoid disappointment!
25th September from 6.30pm till around 8.30pm at Oddfellows, Chester.
