Our retailers-only event, DigiBix, is going from strength to strength. Throughout 2015 we covered the topics of: User Experience, The Future of Ecommerce, Content vs Commerce and The Omni-channel Experience. We've also had speakers and attendees from brands including Waterstones, Bluebella, Whistles, Moss Bros, EE, Timex, Tate, Tesco and more, as well as industry insights from IMRG and Econsultancy.

All-in-all it's been an invaluable event in terms of building a community of retailers. We've learnt a great deal from attendees about where the industry is excelling, where there's a degree of concern or confusion and where we all believe the industry is headed. This knowledge has enabled us to shape a valuable event that directly addresses and explores these topics and concerns. So, you guessed it, we're running more DigiBix sessions in 2016!

In this article, Marketing Manager Kate tells you a little more about our next DigiBix session:

In this DigiBix we'll explore the topic of customer retention and growth.  Within the world of online retail, we often focus on acquiring that initial sale, with all our time, energy and resource directed in this area. But are we missing a trick if we don't invest as much, or even more, time nurturing our customers and encouraging repeat sales over a longer period of time?

John Lewis recently metamorphosed their Marketing Director into their Customer Director, and Michael Gazala, Director of Customer Experience at Forrester Research recently said:

"successful companies are focusing on becoming customer obsessed - on aligning their strategies to win, serve and retain customers in an intensely competitive world."

In this DigiBix, we explore this shift further. Are retailers investing enough focus on retaining customers and which brands are doing this to great effect? What impact is this having on their bottom line? To whet your appetite here's a  2 minute video on this topic, delivered by our Managing Director, Rob Smith.

We're delighted to confirm the following speakers for this event. As well as our wonderful speakers, we'll hold another private 'open forum' allowing our guests to discuss the topic in detail, sharing thoughts, experiences and solutions.
