You may have heard us mention DigiBix; you may even have attended. DigiBix is our invite-only, brands-only, breakfast event for ecommerce professionals.
We’ve run three sessions so far and we have another one planned for August. In the previous sessions we have covered:
Content and Commerce
Omnichannel - tips to crack the code
On Thursday 6th August, we’ll cover User Experience and we’re thrilled to have Whistles and Moss Bros confirmed to speak. You can find more information on these speakers on the DigiBix website.
We started DigiBix because we wanted to run a non-sales event to get to the heart of retailers. Where are their headaches, where are they seeing opportunities and what’s the future of online shopping?
These are questions that we’re always asking ourselves. Of course we have our thoughts and our expertise in this field but there’s nothing quite like hearing it first-hand and through DigiBix we’re lucky enough to have heard from Tesco, BBC, Booker Group, Bluebella, Jack Wills, Fat Face and Ralph Lauren among others.
Something we’ve learnt from DigiBix is that retailers can’t be lumped together and everyone’s having their own battles. Feedback from the session shows that retailers have gravitated towards different topics and found value in different areas. Some have nailed omnichannel but can’t quite branch out internationally. Others have an extremely successful website that their customers love but low footfall in-store. These hurdles vary from retailer to retailer rather than by industry.
These insights are part of what’s led us to produce “Brands that inspire great retail” - our thoughts, learnings and research about where brands are excelling and who’s leading the field in different areas. You may be surprised with some of our findings so far. We’re still working on this piece but keep your eyes peeled, our first edition is coming soon. Why not register your interest and we’ll let you know when it’s ready.
In the meantime, if you’d like to attend DigiBix on Thursday 6th August or you have an idea for a future session, why not let Kate know - please remember it’s brands only and we have to say, Kate’s pretty strict with this, she even has a clipboard!
