We’ve partnered with fragrance and cosmetics specialists, Fragrance Direct, to optimise performance across their multi-million pound ecommerce business.

Founded in 1993, this ambitious online retailer has a clear mission - to be the first name you think of when buying fragrance and cosmetics on the internet. One route to this goal is through their aim to make online shopping quick, easy and convenient.

Fragrance Direct sell branded perfumes, aftershaves, cosmetics and beauty products. As an online-only retailer they are able to offer products at a great price, whilst still concentrating on a high level of service.

The company has taken on rapid growth since 1993 and in June 2014 they launched their 5th generation website, offering more products, services and excellent customer experience. The Blueleaf team are delighted to be supporting the forward-thinking retailer on their journey towards their ambitious goals.

Our talented user experience and development teams are working with Fragrance Direct to analyse, test and optimise key areas across their website, ensuring customers are enjoying the best possible experience, whilst increasing conversion for the retailer.

The Blueleaf team are running Multi Variant Testing, analysing the performance to optimise key pages across the customer journey. Fragrance Direct are utilising the Optimizely platform to support this Multi Variant Testing. Blueleaf have significant experience using this platform and will deliver tests for mobile, tablet and desktop to ensure the best shopping experience across all devices.

The overall goal is to have the website at optimum performance ahead of the Christmas peak, which in retail terms is just around the corner.  This is an especially crucial period for the online retailer, with a significant volume of sales being delivered at this time.

Fragrance Direct are on the Venda platform. We have a wealth of experience and skill using Venda and currently have a number of clients on this platform, including: Laura Ashley, Life Style Sports and Bonmarché.
