Our regular look at Salesforce Commerce Cloud this week gives you a brief overview of a change coming in the Summer '18 Release - read on to find out more.

What is it?

It's been frustrating for a long time that you can only apply one sorting rule to all the searches made by customers. Now you can apply different sorting rules to different keywords or keyword groups.

Why do I care?

Because you're a merchandising ninja that's why! Searches come in all shapes and sizes and very often retailers may have set up redirects to categories in order to get specific sorting rules or merchandising working. With this new addition you have a halfway house where for certain searches you can prioritise margin or velocity versus price or SKU coverage.

What do I need to know?

Not much, it will be here soon enough via Commerce Cloud's normal trouble free upgrade cycle. You can check more info on the video in Trailhead here.

If you want to know more you can email me and I will be happy to answer your questions without any need to worry about getting sold to or chased: just here to help.
