We are absolutely delighted to receive the rare Investors in People Gold award for the second time running.
We were assessed on Tuesday (24 February), which involved a full review of the business including direction, position, growth targets and strategy. Confidential interviews about individual roles, happiness at work and clarity of direction were carried out with the team, as well as with CEO Adrian Lomas and Managing Director Rob Smith.
We were benchmarked against companies internationally from across various industries. The gold standard means Investors in People believe us to be in the top 1.5% of companies assessed. All of which we’re pretty excited about and extremely proud of.
A number of initiatives enabled us to receive the accolade, including a strong vision which is shared regularly with the team, a flexible benefits system, monthly coaching sessions with our CEO Adrian Lomas and flexible working hours for the team.

Holding onto the gold accreditation, which we now have for a further three years, was my goal for this year. I’m thrilled with the news. I never hide that 2013-2014 was a tough year for us and for me, this award shows that we’re out the other side. To have remained team-focused through this tough time is something I’m very proud of.
